Baby Dedications

Baby Dedications

We will be holding Baby Dedications during both services on October 14th. In order to be a part of this event the you must be a Covenant Member of Onelife Community Church or committed to attending the next Origins & Foundations class. ( Click Here to sign up for Origins & Foundations)

Baby dedication is a decision made by a child’s parents as a public display of their commitment to raising their baby in the ways of Jesus. In return, the church commits to provide a spirit-led environment for them to flourish in. This dedication is not a statement of salvation for your child, but rather a statement of how you will raise your child. While not commanded of Scripture, baby dedication can be a symbol – similar to a wedding band –of your desire to raise your child in the knowledge and instruction of the Lord.

There is no greater treasure that you could receive, and no greater responsibility that you could assume! As Christ followers, we understand that raising our children God's way involves personal devotion and a complete trust in God. In fact, God created each individual with a unique plan in mind.
